Tips on how you can adjust your body clock to avoid being late

Hi, Escolarians! Did you enjoy the short “break“ from school?

In today’s #CEUReadyMonday, we have prepared for you some tips on how you can adjust your body clock to avoid oversleeping in the morning and being late in your classes. Check them out!

1. Determine the time you want to wake up.
Set your alarm and sleep for at least 6 hours before your desired waking time. Be consistent and stick to that schedule.

2. Avoid the following: Heavy dinner, stimulants like coffee, caffeinated tea or soda, alcohol, and heavy exercise.

3. Create an environment conducive to sleep.
Don't take long naps, stay away from screens and monitors, set the temperature of the room, turn on white noise, and put the fan on for some background noise or listen to light music.

We hope that these tips will help you get back to your sleeping pattern in time for school. Have a great second semester, everyone!
