Escolarian Student Leaders Unite in USC Week 2020

Centro Escolar University student leaders representing each of the Schools waved and raised their banners to officially kick-off this year’s celebration of the University Student Council Week during its Opening Ceremonies held at the CEU North Quadrangle in the Manila campus.

 

Themed, “Beginnings and Beyond”, the event showcased the talents and creativity of the CEU students with the performances of the CEU Folk Dance Troupe and CEU Pep Squad and students’ participation in Love Lantern-Making Contest and the Modern Barong/Filipiniana Contest.

 

“For organizing this co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, you have unified the school spirit. You gave the student body a chance to grow and know their passion. In our weeklong celebration, let us carry on, move forward, looking back only to see how far we’ve gone and how much we have improved”, said CEU alumnus Atty. Manuel Antonio Mendoza, Senior Associate for International Tax and Transaction Services at SyCip, Gorres, Velayo & Co.

 

Candidates for the much anticipated Mr. and Ms. CEU 2020 were also officially introduced.

 

The weeklong celebration is jam-packed with enriching and fun activities such as Amazing Games, Zumbalmusal, Mobile Legends Tournament, USC Week Summit, CEU Concert Band Concert, and Ingenium: Talents and Gifts Final Round for the Song, Dance, and Band Competitions.

 

The event was spearheaded by the University Student Council Manila with Caloy Carranceja as President, and under the supervision of Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Carlito B. Olaer.
