DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION

  • The program is designed for individuals to prepare them to become a mathematician or high-level mathematics education teachers at all levels, a decision maker and researcher in organizations within a national or international community, and leaders in the educational community concerning the teaching of mathematics appropriate for the demands of the 21st century

 

  • The program aims to develop a well-balanced foundation in mathematics content including in-depth understanding of basic principles. The graduate student of this program will be developed to apply systematic approach and variety of thinking skills to solve problems and be able to link mathematics content to pedagogy for effective teaching that addresses educational needs.
