CEU-AFI and School of MedTech Collaborate for Webinar on COVID-19

Centro Escolar University Alumni Foundation, Inc (CEU-AFI) in collaboration with the School of Medical Technology held a webinar on “Understanding SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 Vaccine: The Realities-Exclusive from an Escolarian Front Liner" via Zoom and with live streaming on the CEU Alumni Foundation Inc. Facebook page.

A very informative talk was given by Dr. Rudolph Doles Abiba, a CEU alumnus, medical technologist, medical doctor, registered nurse, and a teacher. With his numerous expertise, he was able to deliver essential facts on the COVID-19 and the importance of getting vaccinated.

“We should protect ourselves, not just for ourselves, but for our families’ sake and for our entire community. No one is safe until everyone is safe. That’s why it is important to get vaccinated. This will be our ticket to get out of the pandemic,” concluded Dr. Abiba.

Dr. Paz Lucido, CEU-AFI President also announced the creation of the official group chat of the CEU-AFI called Escolarian Alumni Real-Time.

“We envisioned simply a chat venue. We wanted to come up with an interactive and informative practical exchange with our alumni worldwide, and from our chats, we develop a simple practical network focusing on events or issues happening at the moment and are interesting to our Escolarian alumni,” said Dr. Lucido in her welcome message.
