CEU Communication and Media Students Represent Southeast Asia in UNESCO Online Debate Series

Centro Escolar University’s Communication and Media students represented the Philippines and Southeast Asia in the 6th Debate of the 2nd edition of the Media and Information Literacy (MIL) Youth Debate Series which was held virtually at UNESCO Headquarters, Paris, France from May 23 to June 8, 2023.
Freshmen students Charlene Grace Macapagal, Savannah Lantay and junior student Vivien Fajatin actively joined the debate focused on Youth Powering Media and Information Literacy in Digital Spaces. The Team Philippines exchanged arguments against the Team Tunisia.
The MIL Youth Debate Series organized by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) MIL Alliance offered a significant opportunity for young individuals to participate in essential dialogues concerning the prospects and obstacles within the digital world.
