CEU Faculty Members Earn Prestigious Leadership Roles in Library Science and Social Work

Centro Escolar University faculty members, Dr. Rosette Nuera and Mr. Rosauro Luntayao, have taken on key positions in organizations within the fields of library science and social work.

Dr. Rosette Nuera, a lecturer in Library Science and Information program was elected as the President of the Philippine Association of Academic/Research Librarians, Inc. (PAARL) for the term 2025-2026. PAARL, a premier organization for academic and research librarians in the country that plays a crucial role in advancing library and information science education, research, and professional development.

Meanwhile, Mr. Rosauro Luntayao, a lecturer in the Social Work program was also appointed as a member of the Education Committee of the International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) Asia-Pacific Region, as well as member of the Governance Review Committee of the IFSW. Through these appointments, Mr. Luntayao will actively contribute to shaping policies and strategies that will further enhance the professional development of social workers and strengthen global social work practices.
