CEU University Convocation Highlights Health and Wellness in the Post-Pandemic Time
Centro Escolar University community convened for its annual University Convocation at the Librada Avelino Auditorium for its Manila campus and via livestreaming for its Makati and Malolos campuses.
With the theme, Engaging Higher Education Institutions in the Promotion of Health and Wellness-Post Pandemic, Dr. Enrique Tayag, Undersecretary of the Department of Health delivered an insightful discourse on universal health care. He also engaged the Escolarians in a community dance.
The occasion is also in celebration of the 116th Birth Anniversary of Doña Librada Avelino, one of CEU’s founders—an outstanding educator and visionary.
In her welcome remarks, Dr. Ma. Cristina Padolina, CEU President and Chief Academic Officer, reflected on the transition to the post-pandemic era. She emphasized the importance of booster shots and the necessity for enhanced resilience and adaptability to thrive in a world reshaped by the pandemic.
