CEU Scorpions Men’s Basketball Team is MNCAA Season 20 Champion
Centro Escolar University Scorpions Men’s Basketball Team bagged the championship title in the Men's National Collegiate Athletic Association (MNCAA) Season 20, capping off a thrilling series against the Enderun Colleges Titans.
The championship game was a hard-fought battle, with both teams going head-to-head until the final buzzer.
Leading the charge was standout player Israel Osamudiam Friday, who delivered a spectacular performance with 32 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 3 blocks. His dominance earned him the well-deserved recognition as Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the season.
Supporting Friday was a formidable roster of skilled athletes: Simon Emmanuel Espino, Dylan Darbin, Gian Marcus Mendoza, Jhon Mharwin Villano, Makuac Mungu, Jommel John Paranas, Peter Simon De Guzman, Christian Luis Gandalla, Gabrielle Dan Gamboa, Daryl Acero, and Juan Miguel Villanueva.
Behind the scenes, the team was guided by Head Coach Geraldo Ramos, Assistant Coaches Maximo Encila, Marvin Carreon, Guilord Christopher Rubio, and Oneal Arim, with the support of Mrs. Juanita Alamillo, Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs-Athletics.
