Mr. and. Ms. CEU 2023: A Night of Glitz and Glamour

The halls of Centro Escolar University were abuzz with excitement and anticipation as the recently concluded Mr. and Ms. CEU 2023 pageant unfolded. Among the finest ladies and gentlemen, Jhon Christian Boado from the School of Pharmacy and Rashael Ryan Amarante from the School of Science and Technology were crowned as the Mr. and Ms. CEU 2023.
The newly hailed title holders charmed the judges and the audience alike with their charisma, poise and stage presence which made them stood out.
After the fierce competition, Kenneth Albert Jaca and Dawn Audrey Santos, both from the School of Optometry were named 1st Runners-up, followed by Maverick Eariel L. Laureta, School of Accountancy student and Shireen Khalil, School of Dentistry student on 2nd Place. Joseph Gian Paredes and Maria Katrina Paula Ube who represented the School of Medical Technology landed on the 3rd rank. These pairs displayed grace and confidence, earning their well-deserved spots as runners-up.
The pageant also recognized exceptional students and received specials awards, namely, Jan Art Baroro of School of Nursing and Shireen Khalil, as Mr. and Ms. Friendship; Jhon Christian Boado and Ms. Dawn Audrey Santos, as Mr. and Ms. Photogenic and Best in Formal Wear; Jhon Christian Boado and Rashael Ryan Amarate for Best in Swimwear; and Kenneth Albert Jaca, School of Optometry and Rashael Ryan Amarate for Best in Talent.
The prestigious Mr. and Ms. CEU 2023 is not only a competition but also a celebration of wit, talent, beauty, and camaraderie among CEU students, bringing together diverse talents and backgrounds.
It is through the Student Affairs Office led by Dr. Carlito Olaer, Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Ramil Cuerdo, Event Director; the University Student Council and the members of the working committees that this event concluded successfully and was relived after years of hiatus due to the pandemic.
