PBA Players Grace CEU’s Pep Rally 2016

Professional basketball players from the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) graced this year’s Pep Rally held at the CEU Manila North Quadrangle last September 1.
Mr. Paul Lee, current player of the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, Justin Brownlee, import player of Barangay Ginebra, Willie Miller, current player of Pilipinas MX3 Kings, and Arizona Reid, former import player of San Miguel Beermen attended the event together with player agent, Sheryl Reyes.
Each of them delivered short motivational messages to all the athletes who will be participating in the different sports leagues.
Escolarians gathered to witness the annual pep rally. This annual event intends to strengthen the athletes’ morale and help them demonstrate confidence as they represent the University in different sports competitions. This also serves as an opportunity to recognize the achievements of the Escolarian athletes in different leagues last season.
CEU Streetsquad showcased their hippest moves in an intermission number followed by a song number from Ms. Maive Uy, a Pharmacy student. Surprised dance presentations were also given by the Men and Women Basketball Teams, leaving the audience with delight.
After the entertaining numbers, Ms. Mariestella Ong, WNCAA 46th Season MVP, led the the oath of sportsmanship.
The event will not be complete without the much-awaited performance from the CEU Pep Squad as they gave the crowd breathtaking stunts.
The CEU Pep Rally is an activity spearheaded by the Student Affairs Office led by Dr. Carlito B. Olaer, VP for Student Affairs and Mrs. Juanita Alamillo, Administrative Assistant for Athletics.
