CEU Remains Top Performing School for July 2019 Optometrist Board Exam

Two years in-a-row, Centro Escolar University remained to be the Top Performing School after garnering a 90.91% passing rate in the recent July 2019 Optometrist Licensure Examination with five graduates acing the topnotchers list.

With 89.29% passing rate, Gretha Pabustan nailed the highest rank, joined by Rae Cassandra Viloria on the 3rd place with 87.94%, Jardine Nicole Tan on the 6th spot with 87.63%, followed by MC Oliver Dorado on the 7th place with 87.43% and Ric II Lim on the 9th place with 87.18%.

Schools with more than 50 examinees and with at least 80% passing percentage get to be in the top performing schools list and for this year, only two schools made it.

The consistent outstanding performance in the board exam of the CEU School of Optometry under the deanship of Dr. Elena C. Borromeo is a testament to the quality optometry education the University provides, thus producing qualified, technically skilled, and globally competitive optometrists.
