PROGRAM OUTCOMES

The graduates of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology have the ability to:

1. Correlate the underlying scientific principles with laboratory testing;
2. Demonstrate technical competence in the performance of a full range of clinical laboratory tests in aid of diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases vis a vis biosafety and waste management;
3. Incorporate principles of quality management system in a clinical laboratory setting;
4. Cultivate analytical and critical thinking skills in various setting;
5.  Conduct research in the field of Medical Technology;
6.  Apply skills proficiently in the collection, analysis, projection and utilization of health information across healthcare systems;

• Medical Technology Classroom Laboratories
  The laboratories are fitted with facilities and equipment that will aid in providing students with basic knowledge and skills for the performance of routine diagnostic procedures in actual practice.

• CEU Clinical Laboratory
  A tertiary clinical laboratory, the laboratory serves as an actual clinical laboratory for the entire school and trains students in preparation for actual clinical practice.

• CEU Centennial Research Laboratories
  These laboratories are fitted with some of the more sophisticated equipment and facilities and are dedicated for both undergraduate and graduate research studies.

  A Molecular Biology Laboratory is a specialized laboratory testing facility focused on studying the structure, functions, and interactions of DNA, RNA, and proteins to understand biological processes.

Philippine Society of Medical Technology Students

The Philippine Society of Medical Technology Students-CEU Chapter (PHISMETS-CEU) was organized to coordinate all activities pertinent to Medical Technology students' development; to promote and stimulate the exchange of best practices in Medical Technology through participation in international, national, regional or provincial and local conferences, seminar-workshops, colloquia, and meetings; to support student research in the area of Medical Technology and related fields; and to provide an information network and monitoring system of activities in the Medical Technology community in the University
