Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics Program Outcomes
The graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics (BSND) program must be able to:
PO1: Translate the role of nutrition and dietetics in improving the overall health and well-being according to various needs, capacity, and potentials of individuals, groups and families;
PO2: Organize a comprehensive, multidisciplinary, and multi-cultural nutritional care plan as designed individually or through collaborative efforts to achieve total wellness of an individual and other diverse;
PO3. Incorporate food and nutrition plans in the local and national development efforts to
address nutritional concerns;
PO4. Plan and manage food service in different settings and nutrition programs in a multi-level
approach, according to regulations and policies;
PO5. Design economically viable activities using evidence-based studies in varying food,
nutrition, and dietetics programs for practical application;
PO6. Model the ethical standards of nutrition and dietetics in recognition of professional and
social responsibility;
PO7. Engage in lifelong learning activities keeping abreast in continuing education and

Laboratories and Facilities
NUTRITION AND DIETETICS
- Lactation Room
A private room for breastfeeding, express and store breast milk. BSND students and faculty members also use this room to counsel the breastfeeding mothers about nutrition and lactation.
- Nutrition and Wellness Clinic
A laboratory venue for hands-on experience in individual nutrition counseling to help students, faculty and staff to help tailor their diet to achieve their specific nutrition and health goals
- Food Laboratory
Used for learning the basic principles and advanced techniques in culinary and pastry, different methods and procedures in cooking and baking, food portioning and plate presentation.
TRAVEL AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT
- CEU Travel Bureau
The CEU Travel Bureau is located at the ground floor of the ISC Building which serves all training needs and programs including field trips and educational tours of the Tourism Management students. It is equipped with Global Distribution System to give the BSITTM students the opportunity to learn first-hand operation of a travel agency. The Bureau also provides travel needs and services for the CEU community.
- Computer Laboratory (1. for Research purposes, 2. Airline reservation system, 3. preparation of various documentation)
The quality of teaching and learning can be improved by introducing a more effective use of software in the computer laboratories. The computer laboratory, where students use the Amadeus Reservations System, is equipped with fast internet connection and the latest units. The students can practice booking airline tickets and check the status of flights using the system.
- Tour Guiding Room
This laboratory is equipped with the basic tour guiding equipment like microphones, speakers, audio tour guide system and TV monitor to be used for the tour guiding demonstration and mock tour guiding of the students. Lectures for the faculty are also provided in this laboratory.
HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
- CEU Beverage Bar Counter
The students’ experiential learning in preparing and serving of beverages are enhanced in the CEU beverage and bar simulation facility. Aside from the skills and techniques in mixing beverages, students are trained to cultivate proper attitudes needed for the delivery of quality service in food and bar operations.

The air-conditioned Food Laboratories are equipped with modern equipment and a complete set of kitchen utensils to enable hospitality and culinary students to learn and experience basic and advance culinary skills and techniques. The kitchen facilities for both hot and cold preparation as well as baking activities.
- CEU Diner+Cafe
This provides a venue for the hands-on experience on the actual restaurant operations and management and food service procedures.
- CEU Mock Up Hotel
- CEU Front Desk Counter
The CEU Front Desk Counter is a mock desk that serves as an interactive training hub for students to develop their service quality and soft skills in hotel reservation, guest registration, check-out process, and the practices of night audit. The students mastering behind the mock desk are trained in manual and computerized guest cycle procedures. - CEU Guest Rooms
These are guest rooms simulation facility equipped with hotel-standard amenities and lay-out. Students are trained the technical details required for rooms cleaning and maintenance at par with the lodging industry requirements.

School of Nutrition and Hospitality Management Alumni Scholarship
The School of Nutrition and Hospitality Management Alumni Chapter offers scholarship to bona fide BSITTM, BSIHM and BSND students. The scholarship consists of 50% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees for the semester and is renewable the following semester provided requirements are met.

Admission Criteria | Students seeking admission to BSIHM must be a senior high school graduate preferably ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management) strand/ track. However, SHS graduates from the Non-ABM track are allowed but they have to take 15 units of bridging courses |
