CEU Biology Alumna is Filipino Faces of Biotechnology Awardee

Centro Escolar University School of Science and Technology alumna, Dr. Marybeth Maningas is chosen as one of the 2020 Filipino Faces of Biotechnology by the Department of Agriculture and will receive an award for her outstanding contribution in the advancement of biotechnology in the country this year.

Dr. Maningas is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Biology, Class of 1990 and is currently an associate professor at the University of Sto. Thomas, College of Science.

Since 2016, the Department of Agriculture Award has given the award to a total of 25 recipients as part of the annual celebration of the National Biotechnology Week.
