CEU Biology Alumnus is 2019 Dangal ng Bayan Awardee

Centro Escolar University School of Science and Technology alumnus Dr. Robert John Aquino was one of the three Bicolanos who were conferred the Dangal ng Bayan Award during the 2019 Search for Outstanding Government Workers administered by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

The Exemplary Ethical Behavior or Dangal ng Bayan Award is one of the categories included in the Outstanding Work Performance and is awarded to an “individual with consistent demonstration of exemplary ethical behavior on the basis of observance of the eight norms provided under Republic Act No. 6713.”

Dr. Aquino who is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2005 currently serves as Municipal Health Officer at Viga, Catanduanes and has greatly contributed in the efficiency and improvement of their municipal health operations.

His numerous achievements clearly demonstrate his excellence and dedication as a public servant in the field of Medicine. These are 2019 National Modelong Doktor, 2019 Bicol Region Most Outstanding Government Worker, 2019 Catanduanes Excellence Physician Awardee, Local Icon of Panganiban, Catanduanes, and Local Icon of Viga, Catanduanes clearly demonstrate his excellence and dedication as a public servant in the field of Medicine.
