CEU Named Top Performing School with 8 Topnotchers in March 2021 Optometrist Licensure Exam

 With eight graduates dominating the topnotchers list and a total of 113 successful board passers, Centro Escolar University School of Optometry was named as the only Top Performing School in the March 2021 Optometrist Licensure Examination by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) reaping an excellent overall performance passing rate of 96.58%.

Taking the first six highest ranks are Louie Mallari with 88.19% passing rate; Maraya Myka Vista Acebedo with 88.18%; Patricia Mae Magboo with 87.75 %; Jesusa Marie Arcega with 87.36%; Maria Liana Jean Deang with 87.12%; and Aram Joie Paralejas with 87.04%. The top 9 spots were clinched by Joyce Anjanette Ramos and Camelle Villa who both garnered 86.79% passing rate.

For two consecutive years, back in 2018 and 2019, the CEU School of Optometry under the leadership of its Dean, Dr. Elena Borromeo was also recognized as Top Performing School. This constant achievement is the result of CEU’s dedicated efforts to produce competent graduates who are also marked with good values.
