CEU’s Janine Pontejos Nails Gold for 30th SEA Games 3x3 Basketball
Centro Escolar University’s alumna, Janine Pontejos won Gold in the 3x3 Basketball after scoring a 17-13 against Thailand in the 30th Southeast Asian Games on December 2, 2019 held at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan. Janine is one of the Gilas Pilipinas Team.
The game before the finals match, sharpshooter Janine scored the most with 8 points against Vietnam, sending the Gilas Team to the championship game.
It was in 2018, when she brought pride not just to CEU but to the whole country with her gold victory in the FIBA 3x3 World Cup Shoot-out competition.
