CEU Dean Represents PH in 2017 ASEAN MedTech Conference
Centro Escolar University School of Medical Technology Dean, Dr. Charito Bermido represented the Philippines in the Accreditation of Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science (MT/MLS) programs and certification of graduates during the recent 2017 ASEAN Medical Laboratory Science Education Stakeholders Summit and Research Conference at Sofitel, Philippine Plaza, Pasay City.
Dr. Lea Necitas Apostol, CEU School of Medical Technology lecturer and Department of Health, Head of the Virology Unit of Research Institute of Tropical Medicine, was also among the well-known researchers in the ASEAN countries who delivered a lecture on “The Containment of Poliomyelitis Virus in the Philippines”.
The CEU Folk Dance Troupe also rendered an entertaining performance of the country’s native dances where some foreign delegates joined in dancing “Tinikling”.
The Summit was spearheaded by the Philippine Association of Schools of Medical Technology and Public Health, Inc. (PASMETH) officers, Board of Directors and its members.
