CEU Faculty Named as Distinguished Educator in Gerontology Nursing by NHCGNE
Centro Escolar University Graduate School faculty Dr. Pearl Ed Cuevas was recognized as Distinguished Educator in Gerontology Nursing by the National Hatford Center in Gerontological Nursing (NHCGNE) based in Virginia, USA.
“Filipinos are known to be caring for older persons and what better way to do this than to be equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitude towards older person care. CEU’s Diploma in Gerontology and Master of Science in Gerontology Nursing program prepare its students for the challenge of the aging population in the local and international arena,” said Dr. Cuevas.
“Coupled with Science and Virtue, the CEU programs in gerontology develops gerontology nurses that are passionate, dynamic, innovative, and ready to face the challenge of giving care for older persons in a diverse and changing world,” she added.
