CEU HRM Faculty Recognized as Certified Hospitality Educators

Centro Escolar University Hospitality and Restaurant Management (HRM) faculty members received awards as Certified Hospitality Educators (CHE) from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI).

CEU Manila HRM Program Head, Dr. Ruth Reyes, and CEU Makati HRM Program Head, Ms. Luzette Mijares, were granted CHE status effective from July 21, 2017 to July 21, 2022. 

This status is the most prestigious certification available to hospitality educators, hospitality training managers, training directors and human resource managers. As per the AHLEI, it identifies the recipient as being part of an elite group of hospitality professionals who have combined education, experience, and industry dedication to achieve a high level of expertise.

Dr. Reyes and Ms. Mijares were given certificates and lapel pins, in which their names are inscribed. Every after five years, they have to gain the required renewal points through participation in activities included in the CHE Maintenance Information packet in order to maintain their CHE status.

Aside from this international achievement, the CEU School of Nutrition and Hospitality Management (SNHM) led by Dean Cecilia Uncad, offers Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management.
