CEU School of Medicine Faculty Honored as Outstanding Teacher in Oncology 2023

Centro Escolar University School of Medicine faculty member Dr. Roel Tolentino was recognized as the Outstanding Teacher in Oncology 2023 by the Philippine Society of Oncology in the recent awarding ceremony held at Century Park Hotel Manila.

Dr. Tolentino's distinction as the Most Outstanding Teacher in Oncology stems from his exceptional ability to inspire, enlighten, and guide aspiring oncologists on their journey toward a profound understanding of cancer care, research, and patient advocacy. He embodies the qualities of an educator, not merely imparting knowledge but also instilling core values of compassion, ethics, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

In addition to his role as an Associate Professor, Dr. Tolentino is also the Chair of the Department of Surgery at the CEU School of Medicine. Beyond his academic endeavors, he wears many hats, including those of a business and leadership coach, health and personality coach, radio, TV and lay educator, social entrepreneur, professional marriage counselor, clinical researcher, scientific writer, business consultant, and professional life coach.
