CEIS Student Is MB Sketchfest 2020 Champion for Digital Art Category

Centro Escolar Integrated School (CEIS) Grade 11 STEM student Wilfredo Caseres, Jr. won First Place in the Manila Bulletin 2020 Sketchfest with his digital art masterpiece “Bukang Liwayway”.

Wilfredo is a Grade 11 Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) student. This year, Manila Bulletin conducted its annual sketchfest online due to the pandemic and chose “The Resilience of the Filipino” as theme of the competition.

On the contest proper, participants were required to document themselves while doing their artworks by livestreaming on Facebook at least 1-2 minutes. The outputs were also judged based on its creativity, originality and relevance to the theme. Winners received cash prizes.
