CEU Students Completed 2020 UMAP-COIL Joint Program

Five Centro Escolar University students remarkably completed the 3-month online program and garnered outstanding scores in the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific Collaborative Online International Learning (UMAP-COIL).

 

PJ Sheed Olea from the School of Accountancy and Management and Joshua Flores, Social Work student from the School of Education, Liberal Arts, Music and Social Work (SELAMS) both earned 100 points; SELAMS Political Science major Alondra Sto. Domingo and Adrian Rafael Limpin from the School of Medical Technology scored 98 while nursing student Catherine Brioso garnered 96 points.

 

Having successfully completed the required total number of 63-66 learning hours, composed of a pre-program workshop, lecture series, 2-week project, final presentation, and post-program workshop, they were given certificates of completion signed by Mr. Takao Fujita, the Director of the Kansai University- Institute for Innovative Global Education (IIGE).

 

UMAP is a voluntary association of government and non-government representatives of the higher education (university) sector that conducts this kind of program to provide student opportunities to gain enriched learning and international experience.
